Winter Warmers was a musical show based on reminiscences of how mums kept their families warm and well in the days before central heating and double glazing. Filling foods with cheap ingredients, home remedies for bad colds and sore throats, home-knitted jumpers, and brothers and sisters to help keep the bed warm.

The researchers and writers of Age Exchange gathered together the stories of older people who grew up in London and asked them to share their memories of winters in the days when they were growing up in the 1920s and 30s.

The script is available from the download link at the bottom of the page.
